These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Audio & Video Guestbook services provided by Lovewaves. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.

1. Service Overview

Lovewaves provides an Audio & Video Guestbook service that enables guests to leave personalized messages during your event. This service includes the rental of high-quality audio and video recording equipment, as well as the setup, operation, and teardown of the equipment, and any associated decorations included in your chosen package.

2. Reservation and Booking Process

• Booking Confirmation: To confirm your reservation for the Audio & Video Guestbook service, 50% payment of the rental fee is required. The reservation will be secured once payment is received. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that the first payment received will guarantee your selected event date and time.

• Event Duration: The rental period begins and ends at the times specified in your reservation. Extensions to the rental period may be arranged based on availability and are subject to additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

• Rental Fees: The rental fees for the Audio & Video Guestbook service are outlined on our website and must be paid 50% of the total package price at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

• Extension Fees: If you require additional time beyond the originally agreed rental period, you may request an extension. Extensions are subject to availability and will incur additional charges.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible. Refer to our detailed cancellation policy for specifics regarding fees based on the timing of your cancellation.

5. Equipment Responsibility

• Proper Use of Equipment: You are responsible for the proper handling and care of all rented equipment during the event. Any damage, theft, or loss of equipment will result in charges for repair or replacement costs.

• Liability for Damages & Security Deposit: The Client agrees to be fully responsible for the care, security, and return of all rented equipment provided by [Your Business Name], including but not limited to: audio/video recording devices, phone units, signage, stands, cords, decor, memory cards, and all associated accessories (the "Equipment").

• A $300 refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking.

• The security deposit will be returned to the Client within 7 business days following the rental period, provided that all Equipment is returned in good working order and free from damage beyond normal wear and tear.

• In the event of loss, theft, or damage to any Equipment during the rental period, Lovewaves reserves the right to apply all or a portion of the security deposit toward the cost of repair or replacement, based on current market value.

• If the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the Client agrees to pay the balance within 14 business days of receiving an invoice.

• The Client is responsible for ensuring that the Equipment is protected from misuse, theft, inclement weather, and any other avoidable damage throughout the duration of the rental.

• Normal wear consistent with appropriate use will not be considered damage. However, intentional misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification will result in additional charges.

• By proceeding with the booking, the Client acknowledges and accepts full financial responsibility for the rented Equipment during the rental term.

6. Usage Guidelines

The Audio & Video Guestbook service must be used in a lawful and appropriate manner. Any use that violates applicable privacy rights, intellectual property laws, or any other legal standards is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse or disable the equipment if it is used inappropriately.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• Ownership of Recordings: All recordings made through the Audio & Video Guestbook are your property. We will not share, distribute, or use these recordings without your explicit consent.

• Data Protection: We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and implementing measures to protect your personal data. All recordings and data collected during your event will be stored securely in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Customer Support

9. No Warranty

While we strive to provide reliable and high-quality equipment, we do not offer any warranties, either express or implied, regarding the performance, availability, or fitness of the Audio & Video Guestbook for any particular purpose. We cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the equipment.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the rental service. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may arise as a result of using our service.

11. Modifications to Terms

Lovewaves reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes are made will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
